Besides vehicles, the National Police Service Commission announced the disposal of furniture with some going for as low as Ksh500.

The National Police Service Commission has announced planned disposal of various items with some going for a throwaway price. 

In a notice published on MyGov on Tuesday, January 30, the National Police Service Commission (NPSC) noted that Kenyans can bid for one item or acquire them in mass.

"The National Police Service Commission (NPSC) is in the process of disposing of unserviceable and obsolete items. In this regard, NPSC invites interested buyers to submit their bids," the notice read in part.

The notice listed two land Rovers with each going for Ksh1.8 million and Ksh1.04 million respectively. The commission also listed a Renault Fluence which is going for Ksh390,000. The required deposit to acquire the car is Ksh39,000.

Suzuki G/Vitara was also included in the list going for Ksh480,000 with buyers required to give a Ksh48,000 deposit.

High back executive chair assorted, Executive visitors chair assorted, Water dispenser assorted and Microwave whose unit reserved price is Ksh200 were among other items listed for disposal.

Used tyres were also listed for disposal with each going for Ksh2000. ICT items such as projectors have also been listed with each unit price being Ksh200.

For a person interested in acquiring all the items, the National Police Service Commission indicated that they would be required to pay Ksh3,737,600.

Tenderers must fill out all the standard forms provided. A tenderer may tender for each item or each lot and may tender for as many items or lots as he/she wishes. Interested tenderers may obtain further information during office hours.
