Muthoni Wachira, the head of Corporate Communications and Projects at OPPO Kenya, has exited the company.
In an internal communication, Muthoni announced her exit three years after joining Oppo.
"I want to make clear my gratitude for being able to get to know you both professionally and personally over the past 3 years. Without your friendship, support, and collaboration, my time here would not have been the same," part of the email read.
Muthoni didn't immediately disclose her future plans but sources intimated that she could be joining one of the leading Telecommunications companies in Kenya.

She has been instrumental at Oppo Kenya, becoming the face of the company in the country.
"I joined OPPO about three years ago, which has been an answered prayer. The environment has pushed and stretched me in equal measure and allowed me to grow. I love the brand and telling its story.
"I have enjoyed each product launch that I have coordinated from conception to execution together with my team and our PR Agency. Everything about the launches has allowed me to learn. I have fallen in love with the tech world. I have evolved and I have become," she said during a past interview on Kenya Women Series.
