Businesswoman Saumu Mbuvi has opened up on her breakup with Lamu Senator boyfriend Anwar Loitiptip.

The daughter of former Nairobi governor Mike Sonko claimed that the Lamu Senator was abusive and at one point he almost beat her to death.

She made the revelation on Instagram while responding to questions from her followers, who were curious about her relationship status.

“Did you break up with senator he is all over cheating on you?? You don’t deserve him gal ur intelligent,” asked a fan.

Saumu responded by saying she broke up with him and there is a lot she did not share, but she would share the details later.

“Yes, I broke up with him there so much I didn’t share but I will,” said Saumu.


Abusive boyfriend

She went on to share a picture of her injured face, stating that the senator boyfriend almost killed her, adding that women should never allow men to be violent to them.

“This are the things he did to me… he almost killed me. I will forever fight for women to stand for their rights. Never allow a man to be violent to you,” Saumu lamented.

The mother of two also denied being married to the senator.

 

The two met in Mombasa, where Saumu was on holiday, and Senator Anwar was there for work.

Before getting involved with the senator, Saumu dated one Ben Gatu, but the two separated while the governor’s daughter became pregnant.

Saumu later claimed that they parted ways after her ex-boyfriend became violent.
