The Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB) CEO Ezekiel Mutua disclosed on Tuesday that he reached out to Standard media group over an upcoming show by Betty Kyallo and Eric Omondi on KTN.

The show, dubbed 'The Big Quiz Show' is set to premiere on Sunday at 8 PM 21st March 2021. 

According to Mutua, he spoke to Standard MD Joe Munene after an 'avalanche of complaints' about the poster and the possibility of a Show rated 18+ airing at 8 pm (within the watershed period)

"Following the avalanche of complaints about this poster and possibility of a Show rated 18+ airing at 8 pm (within the watershed period), KFCB raised the matter with the Standard Group Management and the MD Joe Munene has assured us no adult or explicit content will be permitted," Mutua tweeted. 

Netizens were quick to join the conversation questioning whether the problem was the show or Omondi. 

Mutua and Eric recently clashed over the latter's wife material show with the former terming it inappropriate content.
