Former K24 TV news anchor Shiksha Arori is set to make a comeback on our screens after landing a new gig with the national broadcaster KBC.

Starting this Friday, June 25, 2021, Shiksha will host the Easy Friday News bulletin alongside Fred Indimuli; a former colleague at Media max.

Taking to Twitter, Shiksha thanked her fans for supporting her and welcomed them to journey with her as she endeavors to make KBC’s Friday news bulletin one of the best in the country.

“A year later, I am BACK, back like I never left. Catch me on @KBCChannel1 my new home. Thank you for always standing by my side, catch me this Friday at 9 PM, it’s time to create magic, with a brand new KBC. Are you ready?” she posted.


Following the news, Shiksha became a trending topic on Twitter Kenya with fans congratulating her for the new gig.

“Wow. Thank you for making #CongratulationsShiksha trend! You have been so kind to me and I don’t take it for granted, it’s my turn to return the favour by entertaining, educating, and informing you every Friday at 9 PM only on KBC,” she posted in reaction to the trending hashtag.

Shiksha is part of a star-studded lineup unveiled by KBC as part of its re-launch. Other experienced journalists in the lineup include; Tom Mboya, Cynthia Nyamai and the legendary Catherine Kasavuli among others.
