Former Tahidi High actor Joseph Kinuthia alias Omosh has apologized to Kenyans after he appealed for help; a few months after receiving thousands of shillings and donations following a similar plea.

Speaking to a local daily, Omosh noted that his recent interview asking for additional help was blown out of proportion, adding that he regrets going for the interview.

"Some things are being escalated and I do not know why. If by any chance I have offended anyone, I apologise.

"I did not expect that interview to blow out that much. I am an actor and sometimes we say things that turn out to be serious. I am ready to rise back. At the moment I am jobless but I have received a few offers…My biggest regret is going for that interview. I wish I did not go,” he said.

During the interview, Omosh rubbished claims that he was back to drinking, noting that he is sober. He challenged those in doubt to visit his neighborhood and confirm the same from the ground.

“For now, I am not drinking and if people want to confirm, let them come to the ground," he said.

Regarding an ongoing debate that he should be checked into a rehabilitation facility, Omosh held the view that such a move is a personal decision that only him can make. He further noted that counseling is his best option for now.

"I have been to rehab twice…Rehab can only be a personal decision. I have to involve my family as well. No one can be forced to go to rehab. I do not see the point of going back to rehab, but I think visiting a counselor once in a while would be the best option for me," he said.
