Renowned Kenyan media personality Terryanne Chebet has set social media ablaze after she posted her experience with a job seeker who has a mad crush on her.
In a tweet on Tuesday, Terryanne noted that she was in the process of hiring the young man to her team, but when she did a background check, she discovered the applicant had been bugging her with love messages on her DM.
In view of the above, she opted not to hire the applicant, even though he was qualified for the position.
“A very short story. I'm all about shooting your shot, but not when you're actively job hunting. Got an inbox, good candidate, mailed him to book an interview, only to scroll up on IG to see messages he'd been sending me, which I hadn't seen,” she tweeted.

Terryanne shared screenshots of some of the messages from the young man where he expressed his love and desire to be with the media personality.
Despite not getting replies to his love messages, the young man kept sending more and more messages.
Reacting to the post, some netizens felt that Terryanne should have employed the young man, while other backed the media personality, arguing that it would been inappropriate for her to employ the guy with a mad crush on her.
