When asked why she fell for Samidoh and not any other man, Karen Nyamu stated that she found him very attractive.

Politician and media personality Karen Nyamu has maintained that she has no intentions of breaking up musician, Samidoh's family.

While appearing on an interview on Jeff Kuria TV on September 16, 2021, Nyamu revealed that she is expecting a second child with the Mugithi superstar, but has no plans of coming between him and his wife.

When asked why she fell for Samidoh and not any other man, the politician stated that she found him very attractive.

“People call me husband snatcher, but I know him well; he cannot leave his family. His wife by now knows that I have no intentions of coming between them. To any woman, Samidoh is very attractive and fun to be around. In my situation, any woman would have fallen in love with him,” she said.

She proceeded to reveal that after discovering she was pregnant with the child, she fell into depression for two months, not knowing what to do.

Nyamu stated that the pregnancy was unplanned and testing positive came as a shock to her.

"I got a test kit and tested from the toilet just to confirm since I had missed my periods and I felt stupid since it was not planned for and bearing in mind we are headed to campaign season, it was a surprise and I got so stressed. I did not want to believe it. I mean the timing was bad.

"My two other children, I got so excited about the pregnancy, but this one I was stressed. The excitement came after my first scan. It is now a good thing," she said.

Nyamu stated that she is a religious person and understands that children are a gift from God.

"Yeah, I read the Bible and kids are His gifts. We know of people who are married but are struggling to get children, so I am okay," she stated.

Nyamu broke the news of the pregnancy to Samidoh after he had visited her. He was, however, understanding of the matter.

"He left it for me to decide what I want but so far, I can tell he is okay," she said.
