Singer Joyce Omondi is mourning the death of her sister-in-law.
Taking it to Instagram on Tuesday, the wife to Citizen TV news anchor Waihiga Mwaura shared the news of the death of Waihiga’s little sister Gathoni Mwaura.
She said that it was difficult to accept the sudden demise of her sister-in-law as they had never imagined such a loss.
“I have began and erased this first sentence more times than I can count because I feel numb and speechless.
“It's incredibly difficult trying to accept that our tender-hearted, witty, beautiful little sister, Gathoni, is suddenly no longer with us. Never had we imagined such a loss...” she wrote on Instagram.

Joyce did not reveal the cause of the sudden demise of Gathoni but said her hope was in Christ alone, who gave her strength.
"In Christ alone my hope is found. He is my light, my strength, my song. This cornerstone, this solid ground. Firm through the fiercest drought and storm. What heights of love, what depths of peace. When fears are stilled, when strivings cease. My comforter, my all in all. Here in the love of Christ I stand,” She wrote.
A number of netizens and celebrities sent their condoling messages to Joyce and her family.
