Former Kiss 100 radio presenter Kamene Goro is set to make a comeback to radio, Lang'ata MP Phelix Odiwuor alias Jalang'o has revealed.
Speaking during the launch of Flair by Betty on Wednesday, Jalang'o who is a close friend of Kamene revealed that the radio presenter despite going under is doing well.
When asked about Kamene, he said he met her on Tuesday evening during which they held talks.
“Kamene is doing great. I met her last night and we had some whiskey. I think she is in a better place and doing something that she loves and is going to join a radio station very soon,” he said.
He, however, did not reveal the radio station she was joining.
Kamene Goro and Jalang'o built good chemistry while working together at Radio Africa group.
Jalang'o was paired with Kamene after Andrew Kibe left the station at the time the Covid-19 pandemic had hit the country.
The partnership worked so well that they even became friends away from the office where they took part in gigs and even attended events together.
Kamene left Kiss 100 at the end of February after three and half years stint at the station.
While leaving the station, Kamene denied being sacked and said he left the station upon the expiry of her contract.
She said she chose not to renew her contract since she wanted to concentrate on something else.
