Shaffie has been in the cold for the last two years after he was sacked from Radio Africa Group’s Homeboyz radio in March 2021 alongside Dj Joe Mfalme and Neville Muasya following Gender-based violence remarks.

In January, Shaffie started a new show titled Shafted where he disclosed his dramatic exit from Radio Africa. He however did not blame anyone for his sacking.
