Veteran Journalist Mwanaisha Chidzuga has made a comeback to the media after she landed a new role at Cape Media Group.

The journalist is set to join the new radio station dubbed Radio 47 which is expected to officially kick off the airwaves next week.

Cape Media also owns TV47. 

Mwanaisha will be hosting the mid-morning show between 10am to 1pm.

Chidzuga who was shortlisted for Chief Administrative Secretary post seemed to have made up her mind to join the media again. 

Chidzuga is known for her heydays as a TV Journalist.

She vied for Matuga Parliamentary seat on a UDA party ticket in the 2022 General Elections but lost.

She heavily campaigned for President William Ruto. 

Chidzuga left the newsroom in 2020 while working as TV News Anchor for K24 TV.

She was among the many journalists laid off by Mediamax Network Limited. 

Before joining Mediamax Network, she worked as a news anchor at KTN News.

The journalist is married to Tana River Senator Danson Mungatana.

She joins list of top journalists who have been lined up to start the new radio station.

Other top names are Lynda Oriaso, Billy Miya, Mbaruk Mwalimu, Ali Hassan Kauleni, Eva Mwalili, Dr Ofweneke, Emmanuel Mwashumbe among others.
