Arsenal Football Club has joined Kenyans in celebrating the 57th Mashujaa Day.

In a Facebook post, Arsenal shared a photo of its three attackers; Lacazette, Aubameyang and Pepe with the FA cup and captioned it Happy Mashujaa Day.


The post is an acknowledgement by the club that it enjoys massive support in Kenya.

Following the post, thousands of Kenyans took to social media appreciating Arsenal for celebrating with them.

Mashujaa Day Celebration in Kisii

Meanwhile, the Mashujaa Day celebrations are ongoing in Kisii with President Uhuru Kenyatta set to address the nation later on.

Some of the guests in attendance include; Deputy President William Ruto, Chief Justice David Maraga, ODM Leader Raila Odinga, Cabinet Secretaries, Ambassadors among others.

This is the first time Mashujaa Day celebrations is being held in Kisii County. It is also the first major national event being held during this Covid-19 season.

In a bid to ensure that attendants adhere to the set guidelines by the Ministry of Health, the government has limited the numbers of guest inside the stadium to only 3,500 though it has a capacity of 25,000.

Kenyans are eagerly waiting to see what the President has in store for them with many hoping that he’ll announce more economic stimulus package for those affected by COVID-19.
