Kenya’s Maasai Mara Game Reserve came a strong third out of the 25 best parks in the world, after India’s Jim Corbett National Park.

This is a major win for Kenya after the effects of the Coronavirus pandemic left tourism on its knees in 2020. According to reports by Kenya’s hotel industry, the country lost over Sh150 billion last year alone as the tourism industry collapsed.

However, it is Tanzania that took the cake among travel enthusiasts as its three parks made it to the top 25 in the prestigious awards, endorsing the country as among the best places to visit as the world stayed locked down through 2020 due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

Kilimanjaro National Park came in 12th position. The park is never short of tourists from around the world as travellers seek to conquer the roof of Africa.

Tarangire National Park also famed for elephants came at 14th place, cementing the nation as the park destination of choice for many voters in the online travel review site.

Other nations whose parks made it are Portugal, United Kingdom, Jaipur in India, and Peru.
