One would think that since the former CJ was a student of the law and an epitome of lawyers in the country, his children would be the same. In the case of Al Amin, the apple fell in another continent.

Former Chief Justice Willy Mutunga is famed for his defence of human rights and his role as CJ between 2011 and 2016.

However, little is known of the former Chief Justice's family. Just like many other prominent figures in the country, he has managed to keep his family away from the glitz and glare that comes with public office.

Mutunga is a father of four. The most popular of them are Wallimohammed 'Al-Amin' Mohammed and Shamilla Mutunga.
