Posh Homes Owned by Renowned Kenyan Journalists [Photos]

Journalists especially the experienced ones are some of the highest earning employees in Kenya. 

With huge salaries, some of the scribes have invested in palatial homes in different parts of the country.

In this article, we showcase posh homes owned by journalists in different parts of the country:

Stephen Letoo

The Citizen TV journalist owns a multi-million mansion in Kilgoris, Narok County.

Speaking at a past interview, Letoo divulged that he had spent Sh 8 million and was yet to fully furnish the house.

He noted that the house has six bedrooms and one big playroom for kids.

A section of fans questioned how he financed the project, to which Letoo responded by indicating that apart from his Citizen TV job, he is engaged in other income generating activities like farming.

Linus Kaikai

Linus Kaikai is among the most prominent journalists in the country and judging by the stature of his role at Royal Media Service (RMS) owned Citizen TV, he is among the highest-paid media personalities in the country.

Kaikai owns a palatial home in the outskirts of Rongai town, Kajiado County.

Tucked in Rongai, the two-storey building boasts an amazing design and white exterior.

The compound has a well-manicured lawn along with a variety of tastefully selected and well-maintained flowers. The compound also has a vegetable garden that is protected with a chain link.

At the entrance of the palatial home is a giant black gate and a gatekeeper's court. The house is a specially designed ceiling with light-brown painted walls. The floor spots sparkling brown tiles.

Jeff Koinange

The veteran journalist who currently serves as a Citizen TV news anchor owns two posh houses in Nairobi's Kitisuru estate.

The two four-bedroom villas sit on 0.67 acres and each has a servant's quarter. The journalist lives in one of the houses and has rented the second one.

Gidi Gidi

Gidi Gidi is widely known for his famous 'Patanisho Show' on Radio Jambo. Before joining the media industry, Gidi was a musician and one-half of the Gidi Gidi Maji Maji duo.

The radio presenter has built a palatial home at his rural home in Kanyamwa area, Ndhiwa, Homa Bay County.

The home sits on a huge parcel of land and has no nearby buildings, meaning there'll be privacy and a good environment to relax considering that it is not located in an urban setup.

Massawe Jappani

The Radio Jambo presenter has a breathtaking home located in Kitengela, Kajiado County.

Being one of the leading Swahili radio presenters in the country and having previously worked at top radio stations such as

Q FM and Milele FM, it is not a surprise that she owns a posh home.

Reports indicate that Massawe and her family moved into the house in 2015.
