Veteran radio presenter Maina Kageni reportedly is one of the highest-paid media personalities in Kenya.

His commanding voice has earned him a spot as one of Kenya's most coveted radio presenters and voice over artists. This has earned him a huge following among members of the public.

Chevrolet Trio Blazer

In 2014, Kageni was gifted a Chevrolet Trio Blazer by the American car manufacturer. The car is estimated to be worth around Ksh5 million excluding custom duties and taxation. The price may be higher depending on the customer's preferred custom features.

The car is painted blue and has a Manchester United insignia.

“Imagine, they just called me and asked me to go for it. Of course, it is all thanks to my visibility. I don’t even know much about its fuel consumption,” he stated in a previous interview.


2016 and 2020 BMW X6

Kageni owns the BMW X6 2016, and 2020 models. He is reported to be a huge fan of German machines.

According to reports, the 2016 X6 costs around Ksh14 million.

The car boasts a host of exclusive features such as comfort access where when one holds the handle, it unlocks and locks without the use of the key.


2011 BMW X6 and Hummer H2

In 2011, Kageni acquired a brand new BMW X6 for a reported Ksh11 million. He revealed that he sought a change of style when he bought the car which used a 4.4-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine.

Prior to the BMW, he owned a Hummer H2 which was among the first of its kind in the country.


2012 Jaguar XF

In 2014, the veteran presenter acquired a 2012 Jaguar XF which was then estimated at a cost of Ksh10 million.

The car was custom designed and the new headlights were fitted with daytime running lamps (DRLs), a restyled bonnet and new chrome side 'power vents'. 


2019 Toyota Rav 4

The 2019 Toyota Rav 4 is preferred by many who describe it as an affordable, comfortable SUV with a low fuel consumption rate.

The car boasts modern navigation features including driver assistance technologies including traffic sign recognition, and driver drowsiness monitoring and a user-friendly infotainment system Apple CarPlay and a Wi-Fi hot spot.

Kageni also owns a Mercedes Benz and a Range Rover.
