Mercy Kyallo is a renowned Kenyan entrepreneur and the founder of Yallo Leather; a company that produces a wide range of premium leather products. 

She is also a sister to celebrated media personalities Betty Kyallo and Gloria Kyallo. Together the three have a reality show dubbed Kyallo Kulture. 

Mercy is known to be reserved and private, however, she recently gave fans a full tour of her 5-bedroom bungalow house located in high-end Tigoni estate in Kiambu County.

In this article, we feature the multi-million house that Mercy has christened La Dolce Vita; an Italian phrase that loosely translates to “the sweet/good life.

Location

The house is located at Riara Ridge, Tigoni that is estimated to be a 40-minute drive from the city. The cottage is surrounded by a beautiful landscape with amazing view of sunrise and sunsets. Being in Tigoni which is known to be a cold area, you are guaranteed of encountering misty mornings and foggy afternoons.

Balcony

The first section of the house is a well-furnished balcony where one can relax as they enjoy amazing views and sceneries around the house.

The balcony is fitted with unique antics and different artistic pieces. It also has a sofa where one can relax as they read a book or enjoy a drink as they watch the sunset.

According to Mercy, the balcony area is her favourite part of the entire house.

Living Room

The balcony ushers guests to the living room which has two green sofa sets, a huge flat screen TV mounted on the wall, and a bookshelf among others.

According to Mercy, the living room is a perfect space for catching up with family and friends while watching a movie of engaging on different games.

“I have decorated it with pieces I have found all across the country during my travels and so it’s just a beautiful place to sit and look at anything,” she said during a house tour video posted on her YouTube channel.

The Dining Area

It is a mix of safari and vintage. Mercy describes it as “eclectic”.

The dinning has a vintage African table and six beautiful chairs. It is adjacent to a huge window that lets in natural light as you enjoy your meal.

If you are not an indoor person, the house also has an outdoor dining area where you enjoy your mean as you appreciate what nature has to offer.

Bedrooms

While the other sections of the house are lovely and have amazing views, the bedrooms are arguably the best part, as the level of artistry and detail used in the interior design is breathtaking.

The master bedroom has a king-size bed, a sofa, a table, and two huge windows that usher in natural light. The room also comes with a master bathroom which has a gold theme.

Adjacent to the master bedroom is the second bedroom which Mercy calls the Queen’s Keep. It is equipped with a nice bed that can fit two, amazing pieces of art and a huge window for natural light.

The house has two guest bedrooms with three large and comfy beds that can accommodate up to six visitors.

Kitchen


The kitchen has a wide kitchen equipped with shelves and enough storage area. The wide kitchen allows for more than one person to operate in it.

“La Dolce Vita to me means smooth, slow, and sweet living,” she said while describing the home.

To rent the entire cottage, one must have at least $406 dollars per night. This translates to over Sh40,000.
