According to a statement by the DCI, sleuths recovered stolen property and two pistols from the suspects.

"Last night at around 9:45 p.m, officers on routine patrol gunned down two armed criminals who were robbing unsuspecting pedestrians off their valuables, along Manyanja Road," DCI's statement read.
