One of the most wanted cybercriminals in Africa was on Monday evening nabbed at the Jomo Kenyatta International airport.

Through a Twitter post, the Directorate of Criminal Investigation confirmed the arrest of Sanchez Charles Ogochukwu, a Nigerian national.

The suspect was arrested as he planned to board a flight back to Nigeria in an operation coordinated by the DCI and immigration officials.

“A wanted suspect holding a Nigerian passport, was early this morning arrested at JKIA. Our watchful detectives pounced on Sanchez Charles Ogochukwu, as he prepared to board a Nigeria-bound flight,” the DCI tweeted.
