According to the Prof, it is unfair to circulate the Presidency among members of the Kikuyu and Kalenjin community, thus the need for change.

Controversial political analyst Professor Mutahi Ngunyi has made a bold prediction on the future of Kenyan politics, stating that Deputy President William Ruto is not an option for consideration.

In a tweet on Tuesday, Mutahi Ngunyi argued that the only choices available to Kenyans are either supporting ODM Leader Raila Odinga or Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i.

According to the Prof, it is unfair to circulate the Presidency among members of the Kikuyu and Kalenjin community, thus the need for change.

In his hypothesis, Mutahi claimed that after President Uhuru Kenyatta vacates office, the Central Kenya region will not produce a President for the next 30 years.

“Kikuyus will be out of power for the next 30 years. Their future out of government must be decided in the next 365 days. And William Ruto is not the future. To circulate the Presidency between Kikuyus and Kalenjins is a crime against the other 41 tribes. Choices: Raila or Matiangi,” he tweeted.

Meanwhile, the political analyst on Monday set Twitter ablaze after stating that Ruto is useless without members of the Kikuyu community.

“Best way to destroy William Ruto is to take Kikuyus away from him. It is that simple. Without Kikuyus there is no Ruto. Our fren is walking on feet of clay. A mild afternoon shower in Gema will melt his feet of clay. End of discussion. Am I right or am I right?” he tweeted. (Sic)
