"Hannah Atsianzale was a God-fearing, humble and responsible woman who raised diligent children. She was focussed and an enthusiastic servant of the community who has left behind a rich legacy. Our commiserations to the Mudavadi family and their loved ones. Rest In Peace," the DP tweeted.

Mudavadi lost the mother in later December and made the announcement via Twitter 

"On behalf of the entire Mudavadi family, I wish to announce that our family Matriarch, Mama Hannah Atsianzale Mudavadi, has gone to be with the Lord. She rested at 5.00am today at the Nairobi Hospital. She was 92 years old," the ANC Leader tweeted.
