Machakos governor Alfred Mutua has sensationally claimed that President Uhuru Kenyatta is not fit for office.

Speaking on Monday morning, Mutua stated that Uhuru has squandered his time as the head of state and he should leave.

He added that even Deputy President William Ruto is not fit for office as he leads the ‘hustler’ movement which he described as a con. 

He noted that the DP Ruto camp has been in power for a long and he is currently wasting time with the hustler movement narrative. 

“Hustler movement is one of the biggest cons. Those supporting the hustler movement are in power & have spent their time campaigning for office instead of empowering Kenyans. Neither Uhuru nor Ruto are fit for office, they have squandered their time,” said Mutua.

The governor’s remarks come as a surprise considering that he has been backing President Uhuru Kenyatta since alongside the BBI initiative. 

Mutua noted that he is the ideal leader to take over President Uhuru Kenyatta when his term expires next year. 

“Mwananchi is suffering, while leaders are hurdling for power. We say thank you to Jomo Kenyatta, Oginga Odinga, Daniel Moi, Mwai Kibaki, Uhuru Kenyatta, William Ruto & Raila Odinga. Kenya needs fresh blood & that is where Alfred Mutua comes in,” Mutua added. 

The county boss further lashed out at individuals opposing the BBI initiative stating that it is good for the country.
