Kapedo Attacks

"He was later murdered under unclear circumstances and the remains of his body together with other bodies were recovered on Wednesday, January 20 at Arabal Sub-location," the statement read.

The Kapedo attacks were condemned by Interior CS Fred Matiang’i terming them as "premeditated cold-blooded, heinous attack''.

CS Matiang'i on Monday stated that preliminary investigations disclosed that the attackers targetted GSU Deputy Operations Director, Emadau Temako who died after he was ambushed.

"It is a clear case of murder. There was no conflict. It was a premeditated ambush that was targeting our deputy director of operations at the General Service Unit. We must stop pretending and put things candidly," Matiang’i said.
