  • Kositany believes Raila has negatively influenced the Jubilee Party.
  • He believes Raila should take the blame for derailed development projects.

Soy Member of Parliament Caleb Kositany has continued the onslaught on opposition party ODM.

This is after ODM announced that individuals seeking to vie for the presidency under the party submit their names alongside an Sh1 million fee.

However, according to Kositany, ODM is not a democratic party since leader Raila Odinga will become the presidential flagbearer.

He added that following the handshake, ODM has influenced the Jubilee. The Jubilee deputy secretary-general notes that the ruling party has become undemocratic due to Raila's influence.

"Raila will definitely run for the presidency in 2022. He does not know how to support another person or play the second fiddle. ODM is not a democratic party. It is a private members club, and that disease has been transmitted to Jubilee," said Kositany.

At the same time, Kositany stated that Raila could not run away from Jubilee's failures as he acted as a co-president to Uhuru Kenyatta.

"Raila Odinga has been acting like a co-President. If there are failures in the Jubilee gov't, Raila will carry the blame together with his brother Uhuru Kenyatta," he added.

In the recent past, Raila has launched an onslaught in the Jubilee government over unfulfilled promises.

However, leaders affiliated with Deputy President William Ruto have maintained that Raila has derailed the Jubilee development agenda.
