Hundreds of commuters were on Wednesday morning stranded in Ngong road after matatus went on strike.

On February 10, 2021, matatu crews operating the Ngong road route went on strike protesting the entry of Super Metro vehicles into the Nairobi-Ngong route.

The matatu crews also protested that the Sacco came with a complete crew instead of employing locals.

The Ngong PSV operators said they will not allow any matatu to operate along the route until the matter is resolved.
