Murang’a Senator Irungu Kang’ata has said that he’ll soon announce his next move after Jubilee removed him from Senate Majority Whip post.

Speaking during a recent interview, Kang’ata noted that he’ll be hosting leaders and consulting with his constituents before making the announcement.

He, however, did not give an exact date or a hint on the nature of the announcement he’ll be making. Reports, however, indicate that he could decamp and join Deputy President William Ruto’s Hustlers team.

“The determination will be made very soon maybe the in next three weeks I’ll be having a small gathering in my home in Murang’a and I’ll make a major pronouncement as to the next course of action,” he said.

“I need to talk with my people, they give me a political direction and then I echo their views,” he added.

Meanwhile, Kanga’ata shared words of encouragement to his successor Kiambu Senator Kimani Wamatangi as he is set to officially take over the post today.

Speaking during an interview on Tuesday night, Kang’ata urged Wamatangi to be courageous and bold in his service as Senate Majority Whip.

He vowed to support any good agenda that the government brings to the State through Wamatangi and other Senate leaders.

“Take courage I will definitely support any good agenda that will be brought to the Senate by the government,” he said.
