Brigid Kosgei is the 2020 women's London Marathon winner. She has defended her world title in the women's marathon, winning back-to-back.

Kosgei crossed the line with a smile all over her face, taking a quick look behind her but could not find any close contestation.

She finished way ahead of other contenders in the race recording 2:18:58. World champion Ruth Chepngetich dropped out of the second place in the last 500m to American marathoner Sarah Hall.
