KANU has announced its withdrawal from the London Ward by-election to support Jubilee Party.

KANU has withdrawn from the London Ward by-election, Nakuru County to support Jubilee Party.

The decision was announced by Sec-Gen Nick Salat adding that the decision was informed by the post-poll coalition deal.

"Following wide consultations within the rank and file of the party, KANU hereby wishes to announce the withdrawal of its candidature from the London Ward by-election in favor of Jubilee Party," Salat tweeted.

ODM has withdrawn from Hell's Gate and London Ward by-elections in Nakuru County in favour of Jubilee party candidates.

The decision comes barely two days after the Orange Democratic Party (ODM) withdrew from Hell's Gate and London Ward by-elections in Nakuru County in favour of Jubilee party candidates.

The announcement was made by ODM Nakuru county chairman Peter Ole Osono as they joined Jubilee campaigns in London ward.

The withdrawal of KANU and ODM to back Jubilee gives the ruling party a massive boost as it faces United Democratic Alliance (UDA) candidate.
