ODM leader Raila Odinga has thanked Kenyans for the messages of goodwill after being admitted at the Nairobi hospital.

Odinga updated Kenyans on his health stating that he was feeling much better and following the doctor's advise.

"Wakenya wenzangu,

Thank you for the overwhelming messages of goodwill.

"I’m feeling much much better now and following doctors orders. Asanteni!, " the former premier tweeted.

Odinga's personal doctor, Oluoch Olunya on Wednesday said that the former prime Minister checked himself in at the facility after complaining of fatigue following rigorous campaigns.

“Odinga walked in for routine medical test at the Nairobi Hospital on March 9, 2021 after feeling some fatigue,”

“He is still undergoing some further investigations with a team of doctors and has been advised to take a rest,” he added. “We are continuing to monitor his condition and no doubt will be able to address the country in due course. He is in good spirits," part of the statement by Dr. Oluoch read.
