Kenya has recorded the highest number of Covid-19 recoveries after 4,328 patients were discharged, bringing the total to 31,659.

According to the Ministry of Health 4,222 patients were on home-based care and 106 in various hospitals across the country.

Sadly 5 more patients have succumbed to Covid-19 rising the number of fatalities to 748.

An additional 21 people have tested positive for Covid-19 from 4,342 samples, raising Kenya's tally to 39,907.

Counties

Nairobi 109, Nakuru 37, Trans Nzoia 32, Mombasa 31, Kisumu 16, Narok 16, Kisii 15, Uasin Gishu 12, Meru 9, Kilifi 8, Kiambu 7 and Siaya 5.

Laikipia 5, Kajiado 4, Kericho 3, Machakos 2, Migori 2, Bomet 1 Homabay 1, Kitui 1, Lamu 1, Marsabit 1, Nandi 1, Nyandarua 1 and Tharaka Nithi 1.

Of the cases, 309 are Kenyans and 12 are foreigners. 183 are males and 138 females. The youngest is a nine-month-old infant while the oldest is 88.
