Oasis Resort in Malindi was gutted don by a fire on Saturday, March 13 2021.

The cause of the fire was yet to be established by the time of going to press.

Area residents were captured on video helping put out the fire which had razed down part of the resort.

Malindi OCPD John Kemboi confirmed the incident saying efforts to contain the fire were underway.

Firefighters from the Malindi Airport and the County Government of Kilifi in collaboration with area residents battled to put out the fire that is believed to have burnt down multiple cottages.
