Mukhula Village in Navakholo, Kakamega County is in mourning after a 55-year-old man died during the burial of his late wife.
The incident that has since left villagers in shock transpired on Friday, March 19, 2021.
The man, since identified as Daniel Tauni collapsed and died just after he had taken to the podium to eulogise his late wife Janet Koikoi.
The incident occurred at the couple's home in Mukhula village.

He was rushed to Navakholo Sub-County Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Janet's relatives Wilson Masike and Nuru Namsonge revealed that she succumbed to tuberculosis complications after she was taken ill last week.
Tauni's body was later transferred to Webuye County Hospital mortuary.
His wife's burial proceeded amid a somber mood that gripped the village,.
The cause of his death is yet to be determined despite his relative stating that he had no history of heart problems.
