Kibera slum is among the regions in the county that will benefit from the mega project which will have 28 kilometers of road linking it to Lang'ata, southern by-pass, and other roads.

The entity has since its inception embarked on the rehabilitation of roads throughout the county through re-carpeting and tarmacking in several other instances.

In the CBD, NMS has successfully renovated Moi Avenue, City Hall Way, and Wabera Street. Grogon and Kirinyaga Roads are in their final phases.

NMS has installed walkways and pedestrian footpaths in some of the roads across the city.

The walkways are meant to provide safe passages for members of the public in Nairobi County.
