Deputy President William Ruto has hit out at the Daily Nation over their lead story in today’s newspaper titled ‘Storm in Cabinet, Ruto told to quit’.
According to the DP, the story lacks facts and is mere propaganda.
In a tweet, he laughed off the headline, adding that his supporters should use the newspaper to wrap meat.
“Cabinet Secretaries challenging who?? To do what??? Hii itumiwe kufunga matumbo na mara!!!!” he posted.
From the newspaper page shared by the DP, it is not clear what the entire Nation story is about, but judging by the headline, speculation is that it is based on Thursday’s Cabinet meeting which was also attended by the DP.
