Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority released the new fuel prices. In the presser, the authority left fuel costs unchanged in the latest fuel monthly price review.

Fuel prices remain unchanged from last month’s charges; petrol to retail at Sh122.81 in Nairobi; diesel at 107.66 and kerosene at 97.85, EPRA announces.

"In the period under review, the prices for Super petrol, Diesel and Kerosene remain unchanged from March 2021 pump prices," EPRA said.

"The prices are inclusive of the 8% Value Added Tax (VAT) in line with the provisions of the Finance Act 2018, the Tax Laws (Amendment) Act 2020 and the revised rates for excise duty adjusted for inflation as per Legal Notice No. 194 of 2020."

In Mombasa, petrol will cost Sh120.41, diesel Sh105.27 and kerosene 95.46 for a litre while those in Kisumu will Kisumu, pay Sh123.36 for a litre of petrol, diesel will cost Sh108.46 and kerosene Sh98.68
