Nakuru Senator Susan Kihika has called President Uhuru Kenyatta for allegedly flouting Covid-19 restrictions.
In a statement on April 24, 2021, the vocal senator stated that the meetings held by the Head of State are a clear violation of the government's directives in the fight against Covid-19.
Kihika accused President Kenyatta of impunity.
"So Uhuru bans all political meetings and public gatherings of whatever nature in the 5 counties (Nairobi included). Then hosts a political gathering and posts it on his official page for all to see?" Kihika criticqued.
He sentiments were provoked by a meeting between President Kenyatta and Maa Community leaders led by Environment Cabinet Secretary Kiriako Tobiko yesterday, April 23.
