Deputy Inspector General Edward Mbugua has announced new reshuffles at the National Police Service (NPS).

Deputy Inspector General Edward Mbugua has approved the deployment and reshuffling of senior police officers within the National Police Service (NPS).

Officers have been assigned new roles within the departments with some taking duties of flying police helicopters and fix aircrafts.

Some have taken up duties in engineering departments and aircraft technician duties.

Several senior officers, those commanding police stations, have been moved within the counties while some have been moved from one division to another within the same county.

The reshuffle has affected police officers under the Traffic department, Maritime, Railways, Security Detail, Chaplaincy, Logistics, Operations, Reforms, Directorate and Legal affairs.
