In a message to Raila Odinga, Moses Kuria claims he has the solution to help ODM which is currently rocked by divisions over the BBI Bill.

Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria has mocked ODM Leader Raila Odinga over the recent divisions witnessed in his party regarding the 2021 BBI Referendum Bill.

In a post on his Facebook page, Kuria appeared to suggest that Raila has been unable to control his flock, and cheekily offered to help restore order in the party.

According to Kuria, ODM currently has two factions; one led by Suna East MP Junet Mohammed and the other led by Siaya Senator James Orengo. Both factions have a different viewpoint on the BBI Bill.

“Dear my friend Raila Odinga. It is now clear we have ODM led by Junet, Mbadi and Opiyo Wandayi and ODM Asili led by Orengo, Otiende Amollo and Okongo Omogeni. If you need help sorting out this mess you have my number,” he posted on Facebook.

It is worth mentioning that politically, Moses Kuria is very junior to Raila, and as such, him offering to help with issues affecting ODM and its senior leadership, can only be interpreted as him throwing shade at Odinga and his team.

Meanwhile, division has rocked the Orange party over the BBI Bill with several senior party members giving different suggestions on how Parliament should handle the bill.

Early this week, a section of ODM Members of Parliament endorsed the BBI Bill in its entirety, while others led by Senators James Orengo and Okong’o Omogeni signed a parliamentary report that labels sections of the proposed constitutional amendments unconstitutional.

ODM Director of Political Affairs Opiyo Wandayi led a group of 14 MPs in refuting allegations of divisions within the ODM Party, distancing the party from the actions of Senator Orengo, Rarieda MP Otiende Amollo, and Senator Omogeni.
