Nairobians have been calling on the National Police to beef up security following an increase in robbery incidents and to an extension kidnappings in the country.

Yesterday KBC news anchor Shiksha Arora detailed how she was robbed while she was stuck in traffic at the Globe Cinema roundabout on Monday evening (June 21, 2021).

Narrating the incident on her Twitter page, Shiksha noted that the attack was well coordinated among three guys.

One guy knocked down her side mirror, the other kept banging the front seat passenger window, while the third one descended on her, since her window was not completely shut.

According to Shiksha, she was strangled and some of her belongings stolen during the ordeal. Fortunately, other road users came to her rescue after she hooted loudly.
