Speaking to a local daily, police sources revealed that they have positively identified the late Ndutire as the leader of a gang behind the Eastleigh robbery.

It is still not clear if his murder was a case of a deal gone wrong, but the police are investigating all angles.

Apart from being one of the most wanted persons in the country, the late Ndutire is said to have loved enjoying a good life and on several occasions spent thousands of shillings entertaining friends and fellow revelers.

“He would spend upwards of Sh20,000 a night and still manage to come to the club almost every day. He was very generous,” one of his friends told a local daily.
