The National Transported and Safety Authority (NTSA) has relocated its headquarters.

In a statement on Sunday, NTSA noted that its new headquarters will now be at 316 Upper Hill Chamber along 2nd Ngong Avenue.

“Effective Monday, 28th June, 2021, NTSA Headquarters will be relocated from Hill Park Building to the 316 Upper Hill Chambers, along 2nd Ngong Avenue, Nairobi,” NTSA tweeted.

Reports indicate that at the new building, NTSA will occupy the Ground Floor, 8th and 9th Floor.

NTSA is a regulatory body in charge of the transport road sector in Kenya.


Some of its key services include; issuance of driving licenses, registering and licensing of motor vehicles, and conducting motor vehicle inspection and certification.

Its other services include; regulate public service vehicles, advise the Government on national policy with regard to road transport sector and lastly, develop and implement road safety strategies.

NTSA is currently headed by Director General George Njao and supported by an Executive Committee which is composed of single representatives from each of the Sustaining Member Companies.

In Kenya today, NTSA is one of the top parastatals as its duties affect Kenyans on a daily basis.
