Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has welcomed speaker Justin Muturi's presidential bid in the 2022 general election. 

The National Assembly Speaker on Saturday declared that he would be going for the top seat in next year's election. 

"I am very clear in my mind, with your support and prayers, we will clinch that top seat," Mr. Muturi told a section of religious leaders he was addressing.

Taking to his social media account, Kuria stated," Now this is more understandable than those funny ceremonies while running naked in the bush. To my long-term friend and boss, I wish you the very best in this journey." 

On May 22, 2021, speaker Muturi was coronated by Kikuyu elders as the Mount Kenya spokesperson at the Mukurwe wa Nyagathanga shrine.
