Baringo Senator and KANU chairman Gideon Moi has invited ODM Leader Raila Odinga to join the One Kenya Alliance that has so far brought together Wiper Party under the leadership of Kalonzo Musyoka, Musalia Mudavadi (ANC) and Senator Moses Wetangula (Ford-Kenya).

Speaking during a funds drive at AIC Kyondoni in Kitui County on Sunday, Senator Moi noted that One Kenya Alliance is about uniting the country, adding that this objective can only be achieved if all like-minded leaders team up together.

He dismissed claims that he is considering ditching the outfit, stating that he is a firm member of the alliance and is keen to ensure that it grows and accommodates more leaders.

"We are firmly in OKA together with my brother Kalonzo and but doors are wide open to accommodate more leaders. We want Raila and others to join us. We can’t afford to lock others out because everyone has a part to play in building the country," he said.

Regarding the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI), Senator Moi expressed optimism that the Court of Appeal will give the green light for the process to continue as scheduled.

"We should all pray that the BBI appeal goes through so that the process can resume," he opined.

Moi’s statement comes at a time when political parties and politicians are in the process of negotiations ahead of the 2022 General Election.

At the moment, Jubilee and ODM are in talks for a potential partnership in 2022.
