Jubilee officials have announced plans to rejuvenate the party following the loss in Kiambaa which is president Uhuru Kenyatta's backyard. 

Addressing the press on Monday, MP Adan Keynan who is one of the Jubilee Party officials, mentioned that Kenyans would see a different party going forward.

"We've had discussions and agreed to rejuvenate our party. Very soon you'll see the Jubilee flag and activities in different parts of the country. Our competitors should be prepared to face the might of a rejuvenated party," Keynan stated.

Responding to a section of leaders in the Jubilee party who have been calling for the resignation of party officials including SG Raphael Tuju and David Murathe, Keynan noted that they had fruitful discussions and resolved the matter internally. 

"We are united. you may have heard a few things here and there, I want to assure you that our issues have been sorted in the boardroom. Jubilee is a mass movement and divergent views are always there," Keynan told the press.

At the same time, Murang'a Women representative Sabina Chege noted that Kenyans would see a rebranded Jubilee party in the coming weeks. 

"After today's deliberations, we have agreed to be meeting several times and solve our matters internally, We will work together as a team going forward and meet people at the grassroots," Sabina stated.

This comes days after a section of Jubilee leaders led by Kieni MP Kanini Kega called for the overhaul of top party officials after the Kiambaa by-election loss. 

UDA candidate John Wanjiku Njuguna was declared the winner of the Kiambaa by-election after securing 21, 773 votes to beat Jubilee's Kariri Njama who garnered 21, 263 votes.
