ODM leader Raila Odinga has said that no parent should experience the pain that the Ndwiga famly has undergone following the murder of their two sons.
His statement came shortly after the burial of the Embu brothers; Benson Njiru and Emmanuel Mutura who died over a week ago after they were allegedly arrested by police have finally been laid to rest.
The former Prime Minister noted that this is the time for the Kenyan criminal justice system to work, if it indeed is operational.
He also condoled with the Ndwiga for their loss.
“To the Ndwiga family that has sadly had to bury their sons Emmanuel and Benson today, my sincere condolences. My prayers go to their mother Catherine Wawira. I stand with you in this grief as a parent. No parent should ever go through the torment the Ndwigas are undergoing.

The two were laid to rest at Kianjokoma primary school in Embu County.
Their burial comes amid investigations one cause of death, considering that there are two conflicting reports.
The parents believe the brothers were murdered, while the police maintain that the two died after jumping off a moving police vehicle.
President Uhuru Kenyatta has ordered top security chiefs to conduct thorough investigations and give him a report on how the two brothers die.
Interior CS Fred Matiang'i and other government officials met the parents of the two diseased brothers on Wednesday.
“We sat down with the father of the two children, we spoke to him, I was with the Inspector General of the Police and the Attorney General and we have assured them that we will do what we have done before,” Matiang’i said.
