DP Ruto prayed for God's comfort to the family of Mzee Ali during this trying time.


"We have lost a pioneer public servant, a steadfast advocate of peace and a preciaous source of counsel. Mzee Mohamednur Ali (Matnur) was the longest serving councillor/MCA in Kenya having started his career with the colonial administration & continued with successive governments.

My condolences to his family, friends and Wajir County at large. Inallilahi waina ileyhi rajicuun. May Allah grant him th e highest rank in jannah," said the Deputy President.

Mzee Ali was an MCA in the Wajir County.
