KTN News investigative reporter Brian Obuya has called it quits from the Standard Group owned TV station.

A source privy to the details revealed to Nairobileo.co.ke that Friday, September 3rd was Obuya's last day with the station.

The source, however, did not reveal the reason for his departure from the station he has called home for the past five years.

In his farewell message, Obuya appreciated his colleagues for the years of learning through the work they have done.

"Today (Friday) has been my last day here at Standard Group, I'm leaving a better and more experienced person than when I joined," said Obuya in his exit message.

A spot check by Nairobi Leo revealed that he has co-founded a company called  Greenbell Media Group.

His departure comes a few days after News Anchor Ben Kitili parted ways with the station after 8 years.

Mr Kitili joined the Nation Media Group (NMG)'s NTV as a News Editor and News Anchor.

Announcing his return, Kitili shared a picture of the Twin Towers which he captioned, "There's no place like home."
