  • Tuju who heads the Jubilee party secretariat made two requests to Deputy President William Ruto.

Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen has reacted to Jubilee Secretary General's hard-hitting statement to Deputy President William Ruto saying that the ruling party is dead.

In a tweet, the senator said that the party that Tuju and those still at the party are undergoing the five stages of grief, and that they are currently at the second stage.

He added that they will get better once they get to the final stage of acceptance.

"Jubilee is DEAD. Kübler-Ross constructed five stages of grief: denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance. Tuju and company are in stage 2- anger. Don’t respond to them. They will get better when they reach the final stage of acceptance. Watazoea tu. It is what it is," said Murkomen.

His sentiments were echoed by Gatundu South MP, Moses Kuria who said, "Rest in Peace Jubilee Party. You shall never arise even on resurrection day. Good to see your orphans looking for adopters and shelter."

Their reactions came shortly after Tuju who heads the Jubilee party secretariat also made two requests to Deputy President William Ruto.

The Jubilee SG requested DP Ruto to explain how much he remits as tax to the Kenya Revenue Authority from his chicken business which he said makes Sh1.5 million daily from selling eggs.

Tuju also asked to know why the Sh7 billion the DP claimed was lost in the Arror and Kimwarer dams sag had not been returned, despite him having business interests in Italy which is home to the company contracted to construct the dams.

"We request a truthful response of the DP to these matters raised for the sake of Kenyans. The time is over for cheap media spin-doctoring as we witnessed recently that he will even accept the G4S Security. Now that we know the G4S are his standard, it should be easy to calculate the price per askari who were posted to his private properties during the era of blackmail stock options and have it paid to Kenyan tax payers. May be we can also extend that little refund to Wanjiku," read the statement.

He added, "In the small matter of Arror and Kimwarer saga the DP told Kenyans that ONLY 7 Billion shillings had disappeared. This situation obtained when he had gone to Rome Italy on private business. His own daughter was the deputy ambassador in Rome at that time. To our knowledge, this money has never been returned by the Italians."
