The family of veteran politician and former Cabinet Minister, late Simeon Nyachae has announced the intention to start distributing his multi-billion shillings estate.

Through a gazette notice, trustees of the former minister’s estate announced to the public the intention to execute his will.

Nyachae’s three children namely Charles, Angela, and Eric have initiated the process of sharing the former Cabinet Minister’s assets to all beneficiaries in his will.

They called on anyone who believes that they are entitled to a share of Mzee Nyachae’s to reach out to them through Daly and Inamdar Advocates.

Anyone interested in the matter has up to two months from the day the notice appeared on the Kenya Gazette on September 10, 2021.

“Those who think they are entitled should send their claim or interest on or before expiry of two calendar months from the date this notice shall appear in the Kenya Gazette,” reads the notice.

Nyachae, who was also an astute businessman, had investments in the banking sector, agriculture and manufacturing left a multi-billion shillings estate.

He also had a long standing career in civil service having served as chief secretary and head of civil service, before he joined politics.

Mzee Nyachae died on February 1, 2021 at the Nairobi Hospital after a long battle with illness.

He died aged 88 years.
